Kids N Music

Damn.. I love old skool songs. N i hate it when these cheesy chee-sing so-called rock band like Good Charlottes and Simple Plan (Pelan Mudah) call themselves rock bands when they sing like bapoks who just got their nuts kick. So menyampah and very the irritating. To make things worse some kid in my office likes to play this cheesy chee-sing rock songs out loud.

Its either kids nowadays are getting lamer or Im getting older. hahaha! Damn... come to think of it...I dont want to think of it! Yes... evidently im getting older. Come on... there loads of band who deserve the rock band title other thatn these 2 crummy band. MUSE plays good music. System of a Down is good too. But please... not Good Charlotte and Simple Plan. They play a 3-chord song over and over in their album and lacks creativity. Shows that theyre just plain lazy rockers.

15 great bands Kids should listen to....(baru + lama) for basic rock band appreciation awareness
1) Metalica ( all of 'em.. yep.. i mean it) as ROCK 1.0.1 for starters
2) Smashing Pumpkins (lucky they didnt go all electronica with their new album)
3) Foo Fighters - Dave boy still got it going for 13 years. Yep Im that old!
4) Soundgarden- sadly they splitted. Cornell went to Audioslave with RATM member.
5) The Cult
6) MUSE. - they just create out of this world sounds.
7) System Of A Down
8) Audioslave (yeah yeah.. their members had been a tad bit mainstream nowadays)
9) Silverchair
10) Deftones- their older albums.
11) Butterfingers * yep... you heard me! Their that good alrite. Buy 'em old records
12) U2. These guys have been kicking ass for 20 over years
13) Incubus
14) Loso (thai rock band) should listen to their raw sounds
15) KORN. ermmm.. ok la..

Any kids reading this.. please cuba-try-test-dengar!!

Me. Again.

IShkkk.. so the very mengantuk today. Its pretty hard to work when youre a bit under the weather. Its either I'm really lazy or the medication is causing me a bit drowsy.

Lately, Ive missed quite a few wedding n it looks like I'll be missing my very own highschool reunion after 5 years. Bahhh... dont get me wrong. I love meeting my ex-schoolmates. What I hate the most is the golden question that pops during this kind of get together events like " bila nak kahwin?" or "dah ada calon belum?" Come on. Im already 27 y.o. la... I can take care of myself with or without anyones help.

Its the getting married season kicking in expecially for Malays as school holidays just kicked in. Its also known as sakit perut season where you go to too many weddings and risk your stomach by eating bad food. Arghhhh..! tak larat..

Main bolaaaaa....Oh yeah!!

Did you catch the game yesterday against China? Im lucky I didnt cause from what Ive heard Sazzy her girlfiends from Gol & Gincu couldve played better, with her eyes closed. Its sad to see our boys play and sometimes I wonder what the heck is going on in Football Assoc. of Malaysia (FAM). What have they been doing? How did they spend the yearly budget the government had allocated for them to develop these sorry @$$ players smearing the Malaysian jersey which cost RM 200 over in nike shops. And those new yellow coloured Total90 kicks which some of them wore..COME ON BOYS!! What else do you want? What other excuses are you going to use and point your fingers to?

I just cant believe despite having 14 stadiums spread throughout the whole country, state football academies and development programs we still fail miserably. Yep!! Our boys suck big time. The jerseys, the incentives, the new boots, the buzz and those stupid hairdos'. I sometimes think they wanted want to be male models more than playing football. Dont puke...

Theyve changed the national team coach many times, from international class coaches like Claude LeRoy to this current one, Norizan Bakar. To tell you the truth, I seriously think we have any coaching problems cause Claude LeRoy who used to coach us a few years back managed to lift up the Cameroon team at Korea-Japan back in 2002. So who else are you going to blame boys? The Malaysian supporters? We supported you by paying tax money to the government which then allocated to FAM even you boys play like DONKEYS!

Some say we malaysian citizens give them lack of support and stuff but hey... What more do you want? Even blind people kick and scream better than our boys. They're just lazy and in need of serious discipline. Some of the local footballers I know personally, bitches like Bridget Jones , smokes cigerettes & drink alcohol excessively. How the hell are you going to compete if lack discipline! Give us something to cheer man! I believe every malaysia wants to re-live the times when we we're the football giants of Asia where Korea, China & Japan teams were just skittles on the field. Argentina now has Lionel Messi as Diego Maradonas successor. Wheres our successor for SuperMokh?

Lunch Break

Yay!! Its Friday! And guess what!! Yeessss... tomorrow is saturday. Wuuhuuu... I still remember myself dreading over last monday. My how time flies and come to think of it, seems like I just threw a chunk of time out the window. Just managed to accomplish on a few petty tasks which seriously is nothing worth mentioning.

*Me in the office... Yep... They all dissapeared! Cilakak!

HMMPphh!!! Just got back from prayers. And I see no one in the office at the moment. They really take advantage of the time over here. Especially the ladies, I dont remember seeing any of them at friday prayers but they are the ones that usually comes into office late after lunch every friday.

Cant wait to balik and lepak and talk rubbish with the lads at gerai pasar tmn tun.

Transformers..MoDiMit-DiAiii!!

Yep. Its another boring Monday & as much as I try to cheer myself up by reading funny emails and posting pointless blogs, its still Monday. How boring.

Transformerrrrsss.....ModiMitde'Aii...
Transformerrrrsss.....RobertInde'Skai....

Hahaha!

I managed to catch Transformers the movie on saturday. And I was expecting to get hampered by yaknow... certain things in the movie which hollywood movie makers like to change when they do a remakes or cinematised your favourite comic book hero.

Examples of poor remakes & cinematized comic book heroes
1) X-Men 1,2& 3.-Poor cast except for the Aussie dude( wolverine),
2) Blade 3- Its like wacthing silent action movie with a bad plot.
3) Alien Vs. Predator - I dont know where to start commenting but its just bad. So bad that I watched the movie on astro 6 months after it came out of the cinema.
4) Elektra- I dont know why I even bother putting this character here...

To my surprise, Transformer wasnt like any one of the movies I mentioned above. Nothing like 'em at all. Or you know.. probably I just couldnt move, my jaw dropped... My eyes...just popped out of its sockets....my body was not responding to anything or any distractions... I was hypnotized with the effects. The last time I actually felt like this was when Megatron fought and killed Optimus Prime in transformer the movie (cartoon version) back in the late 80s early nineties...i think. I was just hypnotized. Really! And Megan Fox is the BOMB! And what really really got my jaws dropped was Primes voice...its exactly the same with the ones in the cartoons! I almost cried.

Watching the robots movements fluidity was awesome. The way they move, talk and also expressions was top notch. Its easy to say that Michael Bay had definitely scored a soaring GOAL for the transformer fans. And as usual, being a Michael Bay movie theres loads of crashes, explosions, terror & mayhem and all those gile meletup meletup ones, he just brought everything to another level. I have nothing against this movie as it was flawlessly made. Thumbs for Michael!

And yeah of course MEGAN FOX IS THE BOMB MAN!!!

ps- Dont forget to buy those Transformer Combo meals at the snacks counter. You'll get a really cool cup with pictures of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron on it. KEWL!!!

Growing up....

At 27 years old, I feel more like a kid than a young man. The things I do with the lads, the way we chat and joke around even the way we behave makes me feel that Im at a static age of 17. I even collect those model Ferrari's that every Shell station sells and when they dont have the model(s) I wanted I'd asked for my money back and go to another station. hahaha! Thats how important it is to me. Me and the lads still joke around like we're 10 year olds on our bikes going to padang playing bola and I pity to all my friends life partners cause we're just plain insane. 17... I supposed thats probably where my mental development ended. Haha. Shouldve drank more Nespray when I was younger. Anyway, the only thing thats different between 10 years back compared to now is sadly the size of my waist. :(

Do you still remember those triple 1 yellow colored cards where we were supposed to fill in when we were younger? Awh... you know... the ones where you're supposed to write down your ambitions every year.

I remember putting down police man cause I thought it was kinda cool and have all these stuffs at my disposal...

See... 80's babies are influenced by those cheesy "cop&robber" movies because we grew up watching Miami Vice-the series, Magnum P.I, 21 Jump Street, Beverly Hills Cop, Lethal Weapon, Police Academy....the list goes on and on.

Imagine me...a copper! HAHA...Thank god that I didnt turn to one. Doesnt matter whether youre an honest cop or a p*g in uniform, everyone will run away from you cause they think youre going to extort money from them. HAHA! "So... camne nak setel sekarang.." is the most used phrase I bet they use everyday. And am I the only person who thinks that the "Jangan Rasuah" badge a joke? I wish I could have one of those badges so I can wear them when they catch me speeding or something.

Despite of all this crap, they'd be the first one you'd ring if you're in trouble. hahaha.... kinda like a love hate relationship going on. Love them or you hate them.. you still need them around. And they need us around to make trouble. wahahhaha!

Respect the Uniform not the man.

Kampung Trippin'

Yesterday was a pretty hot day. If you think KL is hot... You're wrong pal! Melaka is like gile 10 times hotter than KL. Even the uncle at pasar Alor Gajah was going about his business in his singlet showing off his 6 in 1 pack belly. Sorry Nek... you had to model for this picture. :D

Its been for quite sometime since I last came back to kampung. And everytime I reach the turning into the small road nearby the Sekolah vokasional, flashes of memories fly through my head then I'd have a silly grin on my face. :D. I still remember during 1 raya, when my brother accidentally lit the big tree( we were small back then so everything looked big) in front of the house on fire and everyone went panic cause the fire just got bigger and bigger. What came next was the funny part where someone ran from behind(the kitchen) with a kettle in one hand and dragging a ladder on the other, climb the tree and tried put it out. Hahahaha! I still remember how hard I laughed that day cause he couldve used the hose and put it out. Then came the serious stuff after school where all off us upgraded ourselves and played Meriam Buluh. We got some serious scolding from our parents when they found out we were playing that. Funnily, one of my uncles got away with it.

Eventhough it was an extremely hot day, thankfully enough that it was breezy. But since I had a few natural layering under my skin, I spend most of the time under the fan flapping my hat. This of course was after all those chores had finished....

Waking up after a short nap, I then only realized that its only 4 o'clock. Daymn... 2 more hours to go before I start driving back to KL. yepp.. thats my grandma behind me preparing something to drink for her favourite cucu. hahahaha. Cant wait to get back to KL....

oh yeah.. Heres the tree we almost burn down :D
